How do I manage my NFL roster?

Your roster is the collection of player shares you use to compete in tournaments and Picks. Managing it well is core to finishing consistently.

Your roster

Your roster is made up of all the players you hold shares in.

Your roster can be as large or as small as you want, and you can trade in and out of players at any time.

What you can see on the Roster page

The Roster page shows your full roster, along with key overview information and per-player detail, including:

  • Roster Value and how it has changed over time
  • The players, number of shares you hold and their contracts remaining
  • Current prices and the value of your holdings
  • Player position, team, recent form and upcoming match
  • Your current Picks division

Finding and reviewing players

  • Use the filters to search and sort by position, form or holdings, or by player name. You can also switch between list and grid view.
  • Tap a player to open their player page and see more detail, including their recent performance.

Signing and releasing shares is how you build and adjust your roster: How do I sign, swap or release NFL players?

Contracts tab

Every player you hold comes with contracts. Think of each contract as one more tournament that player can play and score in. The Roster page has a Contracts tab where you can:

  • Check how many tournaments each player has left in them
  • Spot players running low before they stop scoring for you
  • Top them back up by renewing their contract

Tournament roster cap

A maximum of 40 players from your roster can be entered for rewards in a tournament. If you hold more than 40 players who have an upcoming game, you can 'bench' some players in favour of the ones you think will score better. Benching a player removes them from tournament eligibility without releasing them.

You set who is active and who is benched on the Selection tab.

Key rules:

  • All players are active and unbenched by default.
  • Players are automatically benched if signed when your active roster is already full
  • Once you confirm your selection, it stays in place until you change it. You do not need to update it every week unless you want to make changes.
  • Players marked DNP (Did Not Play) do not count toward the 40-player cap.
  • Out of contract players do not count toward the 40-player cap.
  • Once 40 players have entered the field during the tournament window, any further players do not contribute to your rewards, even if they play.

Where to find your roster

  • On mobile, tap Roster in the bottom navigation.
  • On desktop, select Roster in the top navigation.

Holding eligible active shares before a player starts their game allows those shares to compete for rewards. For the full explanation, see What are player shares? and Tournaments and player eligibility.
