What are player shares?
Player shares represent your holding in a player. You can sign player shares with Gold and earn rewards when those players perform well.
What shares are
Shares are how you back the players you believe in. Hold a player's shares and they're in your squad or roster for tournaments. If they finish near the top, you earn a reward based on how many of their shares you hold, so the more you hold in a player who delivers, the bigger your reward.
You sign shares with Gold and release them when you want to move on. Doing well comes down to picking the right players and backing them across tournaments.
How shares work
- Sign shares from the market using Gold.
- Release shares to return Gold to your balance, subject to the current price and fee.
- Swap shares to move from one player to another in a single action for a lower fee.
- Prices move with demand. The more a player is signed, the higher their price climbs.
- Your eligible active shares determine your portion of a placing player’s tournament reward.
Tournament eligibility
If you're holding a player's shares before they enter the pitch in Football, or before their game starts in NFL, those shares are eligible for that tournament. Shares you sign after that aren't eligible for that tournament.
