What is slippage?

Slippage is the difference between the price shown when you request a trade and the price available when it is completed. It is not a fee.

How does slippage work?

Player prices can move while your trade is being processed, particularly when a player is being traded frequently. In Pro, your slippage tolerance sets the maximum price movement you are willing to accept.

You can review and adjust your slippage tolerance in the trade preview before confirming:

  • A lower tolerance gives you greater control over the final price, but makes it more likely that the trade will fail if the price moves.
  • A higher tolerance makes the trade more likely to complete, but you may receive a less favourable price.

If the price moves beyond your chosen tolerance, the trade will be cancelled and any Gold you committed to it will be returned to you.
