How do leaderboards work in Sport.fun?

Leaderboards let you see how players and managers are performing. Different leaderboards measure different parts of the game, so it is useful to understand what each one represents.

Tournament player rankings

Each tournament ranks players according to the points they score from their real match performances.

Players compete against others in the same position. For example, Football defenders are ranked against other defenders, while NFL quarterbacks are ranked against other quarterbacks.

The highest-scoring players in each position can earn a share of the tournament reward pool for managers holding eligible shares in them.

The number of shares you hold does not affect the player’s leaderboard position. It affects your portion of the reward if that player finishes in a rewarded place.

Picks rankings

Picks leaderboards rank managers by the score from their five-player Picks lineup.

Your Picks score includes:

The scores earned by your five selected players
The 1.5× multiplier applied to your Captain

Your score is based on the quality of your Picks, not the number of shares you hold. However, your share holdings may affect whether a Pick is eligible to contribute towards your reward.

If two managers finish with the same Picks score, the manager with the higher Skill Rating is ranked above the other.

Divisions and Skill Rating

Picks uses Skill Rating - or SR - to place managers into divisions:

Bronze: 1,000–1,999 SR
Silver: 2,000–2,999 SR
Gold: 3,000–3,999 SR
Diamond: 4,000–4,999 SR
Elite: 5,000+ SR

At the end of a tournament, your Picks score is compared with the average score in your division:

Beat your division average and your Skill Rating increases.
Finish below the average and your Skill Rating decreases.

Your division determines which managers you compete against and may affect the rewards or loan-player rules that apply.

Leagues and Head to Heads

Leagues and Head to Heads use the same Picks scores but let you compete directly with friends or other groups of managers.

A League ranks managers using their combined Picks scores across a series of tournaments.
A Head to Head compares two managers’ Picks scores in a single tournament.

These competitions do not change your main tournament rewards or the way your Picks score is calculated.

Open Leaderboards to view your Tournament Score, Skill Rating, League and Head-to-Heads.

You can also follow the current tournament player rankings and your live Picks position from the Live page.

Leaderboard scores may change while matches are in progress or if the underlying match data is corrected. Final positions are confirmed once the tournament has been completed and the scores have been finalised.
