Selling players during a live tournament
How selling affects your tournament rewards
When a player enters the pitch - or their game starts in NFL - the shares you hold become eligible for that tournament.
If you then sell enough shares to take your holding below 90% of that eligible amount, this counts as one in-tournament sale. Each player can only count once per tournament, no matter how many separate transactions you make.
A small number of in-tournament sales will not affect your rewards. However, selling several eligible players during the same tournament reduces your overall player-performance reward. These are called substitutions.
Players sold during the tournament | Reward you receive |
|---|---|
0–5 | 100% |
6–7 | 50% |
8–9 | 25% |
10 or more | 10% |
Any reward you give up is redistributed to managers who retained their eligible shares. |
Fees during live fixtures
A higher fee may also apply when you release or swap out of a player while they are playing:
- Releasing or swapping out carries a 10% fee while the player is participating.
- The fee begins to fall after the player leaves the field or the game ends.
- It gradually returns to its normal level over the following hour.
- Signing or swapping into the player is unaffected.
The trade preview will always show the fee that applies before you confirm.
